Dressage Seminar and Clinic

Jeff is a founding member of the United States
Dressage Federation, I ridden dressage judge and committee member
for development of ridden tests and USDF rules. Jeff drove horses during
his time in Holland and is currently a board member for the Dutch horse
registry. Through over 40 plus years of training, teaching and judging
Jeff has focused on proper movement of the horse accomplished through the
use of strong training basics.
Clinic Focus and Format: The clinic will consist of 2
days. The goal will be to provide a current assessment of the horse and
give the driver suggestions for improvement. The lecture and exercises
apply to both riding and driving. This will be an auditor friendly
clinic with handouts and time for questions with Jeff. Lessons will be
held in a driven dressage court (40x80 meters). Drivers will have the
option to format their own lesson. Options include driving a dressage test
and critique, learn how to properly drive a test, or spend your time
working with Jeff on your particular needs.

Lessons start 9:45. Each person will have 45
minutes to work with Jeff. The lesson will be videoed.

Note: Assessment of proper horse movement and
techniques used for training apply for driving and riding. Riders are
welcome to audit. Jeff is well known for his expertise with ground
training techniques.

Cost:
Participant - $180.00 for both days. Fee includes continental breakfast,
lunch for the pa participant and a helper, drinks throughout the
weekend, video taping of the first day, and stabling. Reservations and
payment in advance is required.
Auditors - $25/day or $40 for two days (Includes lunch)
Stabling: Some paddocks are available at
no charge, first come, first serve.
People Accommodations: Overnight
campers are welcome. There is a new Bed and Breakfast in Winters called

Helmets
are strongly advised for all participants!!
